Paul Scott
Paul Scott is a partner with the Firm and represents plaintiffs and
defendants in a broad range of civil litigation in both state and federal
courts in Georgia.
Paul has represented clients in a variety of
matters, including claims for wrongful death, medical malpractice, products
liability, breach of warranty, non-compete / non-solicitation contracts, theft
of trade secrets, constitutional law, qui tam actions under the False Claims
Act, and civil Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act
cases.
In addition to representing individuals, Paul also advises some
of the world's most-recognized companies, including a Fortune 50 corporation
and an internationally-known fashion designer, on matters of regulatory
compliance and litigation issues.
Paul is admitted to practice in the
United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit; United States District
Court, Middle District of Georgia; United States District Court, Southern
District of Georgia; the Supreme Court of Georgia; the Court of Appeals of
Georgia; and and all state courts in Georgia.

A
third-generation resident of Brunswick, Paul is married and has one son. Paul
and his family are members of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Brunswick.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys fishing and photography. Before law school, Paul
worked as a concert promoter.
