Richard K. Strickland

Mr. Strickland is a partner with the Brunswick, Georgia law firm of Brown, Readdick, Bumgartner, Carter, Strickland & Watkins, LLP. His law practice is primarily devoted to litigation, with a specific emphasis upon the representation of law enforcement and other governmental officials, employment law, and business litigation. He is a graduate of Brewton-Parker College, Valdosta State College, and the Emory University School of Law. Prior to entering law school, he served as News Director and Operations Manager of ABC television network affiliate WVGA in Valdosta, Georgia.

His community activities include service upon various committees at St. Simons United Methodist Church and coaching youth sports teams. He is currently a member of the State Bar of Georgia's Disciplinary Board Review Panel.

Mr. Strickland and his wife Sandy reside on St. Simons Island with their five children.
